Monroe, NC – Candidate filing for Union County Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor (2 seats) begins at noon on Monday, June 8, 2026, and ends on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Interested individuals will file at the Union County Board of Elections, 316-B East Windsor Street, Monroe NC 28112.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old, a registered voter in Union County, and pay a $5 filing fee. The seat is nonpartisan, so no primary is required. Candidates whose notices of candidacy are accepted will be on the ballot for the Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor contest in the general election on November 3, 2026.
